Documentation for Joomla Extensions

Our Simple Content Versioning (SCV) and Workflow Extensions work together to provide a complete solution for workflow.

To update Simple Content Versioning, you must un-install the component and two plugins:

• Component - Versions: This is the component that shows the list of content versions available for a particular document.
• Content - Versioning: This is the plugin that actually saves the version
  
• Button - Versions: This is the editor plugin button that appears at the bottom of the editor which you click to access prior versions of the document you’re currently editing.

You can uninstall all of these via Extensions -> Install/Uninstall

Your versions will be preserved.

To upgrade, if you removed all three components successfully, you can install using the installer package

You can also install or upgrade individual components/plugins if you've received specific instructions from us that its safe to do so.

To upgrade the Workflow extension, simply refer to the download links you originally received from us.  If your downloads have expired, contact us and we'll rush updated links to you.
